What does your ideal Sunday in Malmö look like, from morning to evening?
"I’ll start the day with breakfast at Kafferosteriet—can’t miss their must-try carrot cake! If it’s summer, I’ll take a stroll through the city to Via Palermo for some delicious, authentic gelato and then relax on Ribersborg beach, which is just minutes from the city centre. In winter, I’ll visit Kallbadhuset to enjoy both the sauna and a refreshing cold plunge. Since it’s Sunday, I’d opt for takeaway from places like Papi or Ramen to Biiru at Saluhallen, and then savour it while watching a good series with my husband after the kids are asleep. Ideally, with a glass of fine wine to cap off the week perfectly!"

Meet our dear friend Frida, a vibrant soul from Gothenburg who now calls Stockholm home. Frida balances her role as Global Marketing Manager at Electrolux with grace and anticipation. Discover her style tips, personal insights, and more below!

How would you describe your personality in just three words?
“I think that “positive”, “social” and “driven” would sum up my personality quite well. A good mix of an organized person, yet with a strong sense of spontaneity.”

What items are must-haves in your everyday bag?
“I can’t go anywhere without my Decubal lip balm; it is a lifesaver! Also, I know that I’m not my best self if I go too long without a snack, so I always have something snackable, anything from a fruit to a nut bar, depending on the size of my bag. And finally, my AirPods. Living in a noisy city, being able to cancel the noise and tune in to my favorite music really makes a difference.”

What does your ideal Sunday in Stockholm look like, from morning to evening?
“I love Sundays! I usually start the weekend with a coffee with foamed milk in bed—no better way to start the day if you ask me! Another pleasure in life is enjoying breakfast with a friend or with my boyfriend out in the city. My current favorite spot is a small bistro called Teddy’s. They have this amazing yogurt plate with homemade granola featuring pistachio and orange. I could eat it every day.
Sundays are perfect for strolling around the city, as every part has its hidden gems. I usually let my lunch preference guide where I head for the day. Ett Hem has one of the best lunches in the city, making it perfect for a special occasion. During summer, a more relaxed option would be Rosendals Trädgård at Djurgården.
After lunch, I like to go to either a pilates or a yoga class. I love that weekends offer the option to work out in the middle of the day. Finally, I would end the day with a picnic at Södermalm in one of the many parks with views of Stockholm—there's nothing like it. If the night is still young, I might drop by one of the rooftop bars in the area, such as Freyja or Pelago, for a final sip of the city.

Could you recommend a book that has left a lasting impact on you?
“I enjoy books that are written in a beautiful language, usually with a slow-paced storyline that finds beauty in simplicity. Even though I read non-fiction too, I tend to turn to books for a reality escape. I recently read Fresh Water For Flowers, which moved me and has stayed with me since.”

Do you have any guilty pleasures - an indulgence you just can’t resist?
“Too many, haha! But in general, anything licorice. If someone offers me a Kick with sea salt flavour, it is very unlikely that I will turn it down.”

Where do you feel most comfortable and relaxed in your home?
“I absolutely love waking up in a clean and organized home, in a bed with crisp new sheets, seeing the sun peeking in. Then I feel both relaxed and excited about the day that will soon unfold.”

What podcasts are currently captivating your attention and why?
“I’m not the biggest fan of podcasts and generally prefer listening to music, but some podcasts with certain topics and organized hosts can still capture my attention. An all-time favorite is Wellness with Ella by Ella Mills. Ella runs the British wellness and food brand Deliciously Ella, and in the podcast, she invites different wellness experts to share their knowledge on various topics. The episode with Dan Buettner on Blue Zones is particularly interesting.”

Do you possess any hidden talents or skills that might surprise others?
“I never give up a fight when I feel I haven’t been treated justly. This usually comes in the form of getting compensation from travel agencies and such for delays and poor experiences. I once even got a refund for an inedible avocado; that might have been taking it too far, but you get the point. As a person who is usually quite diplomatic, I think this might surprise people.”

What recent addition to your wardrobe has you most excited?
“A pair of silver Blankens with bows. I feels so pretty in them, and they still allow me to dance all night!”

If you could host a dream dinner party, who would be on your guest list and why?
“I've had the great opportunity to live in different parts of the world, making amazing friends through various stages of my life. My dream dinner party would include inviting all these wonderful people for an evening together. Nothing would make me happier than bringing all my loved ones together under one roof.”

Is there a quote that speaks to you on a profound level? If so, what is it?
“A bit cliché perhaps, but “A flower never thinks of competing with the next flower to it, it just blooms” strongly resonates with me. I even engraved a ring I designed for my birthday with “bloom” as a reminder of this—we are all perfect in our own way, and we don’t need to compete.”

Whose style or aesthetic do you admire and draw inspiration from?
“My style is feminine and flowy, so I tend to look at anyone with what I call a “dreamy” style. This applies to fashion, interior design, and travel inspiration. I am currently inspired by Elsa Billgren and Hanaw Rashid.”

If you weren’t in your current profession, what alternative career path would you pursue?
“If I could dream and anything was possible, I would love to be a musical star on Broadway. As a kid, I loved being on stage—theater, dance, and singing; I just loved all of it. As my talent faded (or I realized that I had none, haha), I moved on in life. As a more realistic dream, I would love to pursue a career in holistic health and wellbeing. Understanding how our body and mind connect through what we eat, how we live, and what we think is such an interesting field.”

Who are some of your favorite Instagram accounts to follow, and what draws you to them?
“My Instagram following is a mix of friends, aesthetic inspiration (in the form of influencers, travel, and art accounts), and finally, food (mainly restaurants and some chefs’ accounts). I see Instagram as a way to explore and dream, whether it's ahead of a planned trip, finding food to cook or try out, or just for interior inspiration. Two favorites at the moment are @paula.atelier, a Gothenburg-based ceramist who creates the dreamiest pieces, and @ritafarhifinds, a London-based influencer whose content makes me want to move back to London.”

Which SKAT Jewelry piece holds special sentimental value for you, and what’s the story behind it?
“I love all my SKAT pieces, but two hold a special place in my heart. The first is a pearl anklet that makes me feel like a mermaid in the summer. What's even more special about this anklet is that it represents so much love. I've had the incredible honor of being a bridesmaid three times for three stunning women, and at each of these weddings, the bride wore this anklet as "something borrowed." I can’t wait to wear it myself at my wedding one day—it's completely packed with love and happiness! The second piece is my wonderful CECILE pearl bow earrings. Not only do they elevate any outfit, but they were also a gift to myself to celebrate my pregnancy with my son.”
